Ez Flow Infiltrator

Infiltrator’s EZflow septic systems can improve infiltrative performance by eliminating the fines and reducing compaction. EZflow products have been certified by IAPMO as well as the ICC-ES PMG Listing Program.

Infiltrator EZflow septic systems are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional stone and pipe drainfields. They use a modular engineered geosynthetic gravel design. Gravelless EZflow is intended to improve the performance of drainfields by eliminating fines, reducing compaction, and embedment that are associated with stone. Pre-assembled units include a 3” or 4” perforated drain. The EZflow system is designed for drainfield performance. It eliminates fines and reduces compaction and stone embedment. The pre-assembled units consist of a perforated pipe that is surrounded with aggregate and held in position with durable, long-lasting netting.

FAQ’s

Which Systems Can Ezflow be Installed in?

EZflow is compatible with almost all septic leach fields and leach beds. EZflow is compatible with any type of pipe and stone. This includes installation in trenches, beds, and elevated mounds. EZflow offers superior treatment capabilities for pressure dosing and serial distribution.

What is the maximum size of the leach field that can be reduced when I install Ezflow?

Each local health department determines the system sizing. The system size is usually calculated using a combination soil type and wastewater volume (normally based on the number of bedrooms). Health departments usually approve sizing cuts of 25 to 50% when EZflow has been specified. For details in your area, check your local health codes.

Can Ezflow be installed under a driveway or paved surface?

Septic leach fields cannot be installed on impervious surfaces like driveways, according to most health codes. The reason is that the soil can be compressed by the pressure of the surface, which can cause a decrease in its ability to filter effluent (wastewater). For the exact codes applicable to your area, check with your local health department. What is Ezflow’s Minimum and Maximum System Coverage Specification?

Infiltrator Water Technologies recommends that EZflow be covered with a minimum 12 inch of compacted material. In a trench system, the maximum allowable cover for EZflow is 96 inches. Maximum cover for bed systems is 48 inches. For bed systems, the maximum cover is 48 inches. Infiltrator Water Technologies recommends that there be no separation between bundles. The EZflow can contour around any existing obstacles with virtually no limitations. A geotextile mesh within the netting prevents soil from getting into the bundles.
