ECOPOD Advanced Wastewater Treatment System

ECOPOD Advanced Wastewater Treatment Units were chosen by system designers for their 60,000 GPD system. They have a drip dispersal area and a drip field. ECOPOD Series is a simple design that reduces nitrogen, BOD and TSS. It can be easily installed, maintained, and extremely effective. These systems use a fixed-film process which is reliable, stable, and robust. They can be customized for residential or commercial installations.

Ecopod Sewage Treatment Systems

Our ECOPOD system has been certified by ANSI/NSF40. To achieve a particular effluent quality, the ECOPOD treatment method can be combined with other methods.

An ECOPOD STP that accepts residential wastewater follows the same design criteria as similar type of package sewage treatment plant.

These criteria are laid out in British Columbia, Canada’s standard practice manual, which is updated periodically by the Ministry of Health Services.

The typical arrangement includes a trash tank, reactor tank and, if necessary, a pump chamber (fiberglass, concrete or concrete). A media housing, which contains the attached media, is installed. This unit is made of a specially engineered plastic and provides optimal conditions for the formation of biomass.

Ecopod System to Treat Mobile Park

This system was created to handle the domestic waste generated in 35+ mobile homes within Twin Oaks Mobile Home Community. It is located on an approximate 16-acre lot in McComb, Mississippi. The design flow was set at 20,000 GPD with an average strength 300 mg/L of TSS and BOD. The system can manage fluctuation of up to 50% of the daily flow.
